Meet Dr. Spina
Who is Dr. Spina?
Dr. Spina is a life long Main Line native who began his education as a “lifer” at The Haverford School. He continued his education at Villanova University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. From there, Dr. Spina attended the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine as a Dean’s Scholar and graduated in the elite top 10% of his class, receiving numerous awards. He completed his residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr. Spina has recently received an appointment as a clinical faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and is one of the youngest faculty members in the University.
Since his graduation Dr. Spina has practiced Family and Cosmetic Dentistry on the Main Line while taking advanced classes in implant, cosmetic and mercury-free dentistry.
Dr. Spina has received the Quintessence award in Periodontics, University if Pennsylvania Achievement Award in Pharmacology and Therapeutics, as well as been named to the Matthew Cryer Society and the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society.
My Philosophy
"My philosophy of dental practice is simple, I want to provide exceptional dental care, in the most comfortable environment possible.
Prevention of dental problems through cleanings, check-ups, constant monitoring for oral cancer, long-lasting dental fillings and crowns, and prompt, reliable attention to emergencies are the keys to good dental care and my promise to my patients".
